Junyu Chen, Ph.D. Instructor

Dr. Junyu Chen currently serve as an Instructor of Radiology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutes. His academic journey at Johns Hopkins University, spanning from 2017 to 2022, led to a M.S.E. and Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering. He also hold dual B.Sc. degrees with Summa Cum Laude honors in Computer and Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2017. Dr. Chen’s research focuses on the application of machine learning to medical image analysis, particularly in nuclear medicine imaging. A notable career highlight was being named to the 2024 Forbes 30 Under 30 in Healthcare.
